In 2011, what began as a shared vision among space advocates evolved into Advanced Space - a company founded on the belief that orbital mechanics could drive innovation in space exploration. Co-founders Bradley Cheetham and Jeffrey Parker, along with their team, started with a technology called the GEO Parker Transfer and established the company first as Geryon Space Technologies before incorporating as Advanced Space, LLC in 2013. The early years were marked by sacrifice and determination; the founding team invested personally, worked without pay, and operated out of shared office space above a mattress store in North Boulder, all driven by their commitment to enabling the sustainable exploration, development, and settlement of space.
Today, Advanced Space has grown from less than 15 team members in 2019 to over 55 by 2023, establishing itself as a pioneer in the space industry. The company made history as the first commercial entity to orbit a spacecraft in the vicinity of the Moon with the CAPSTONE satellite, demonstrating proprietary peer-to-peer navigation capabilities and serving as a pathfinder for NASA's Artemis program. Through Mission Enabling Services, Technology & Software Solutions, and Mission Solutions, Advanced Space delivers advanced trajectory design, navigation strategies, and flight dynamics solutions that turn ambitious concepts into operational reality, supporting missions across civil, commercial, international, and national security domains.
