Requirements
We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP HR Developer with strong expertise in SAP HCM and SuccessFactors integration. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and support ABAP HR solutions including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and integrations while ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and customize RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) using SAP ABAP HR.
Develop and enhance custom infotypes based on specific business requirements.
Build and maintain robust interfaces between:
SAP HCM / SuccessFactors
- SAP Payroll (ECC/ECP) systemsensuring accurate and seamless data exchange.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for developed solutions.
Ensure adherence to SAP development standards, coding best practices, and quality benchmarks.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure solution stability.
Support employee data replication processes and troubleshoot integration issues.
Collaborate with functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver effective HR solutions.
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
SAP ABAP Development
Strong hands-on ABAP programming experience including:
Data Dictionary
Function Modules
Smart Forms / Adobe Forms
BAPIs and BADIs
ABAP enhancements and user exits
Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) and ABAP 7.4+ syntax.
SAP HCM Functional Knowledge
Strong functional exposure to key HR modules:
Personnel Administration (PA)
Organizational Management (OM)
Personnel Time Management (PT)
Payroll (PY)
Integration & Interfaces
Experience integrating:
SAP SuccessFactors with ECC/ECP Payroll
SAP HR with other SAP modules and external systems
Knowledge of:
Business Integration Builder (BIB)
Point-to-point data replication
SAP Cloud Integration tools
OData APIs and RFC development
S/4HANA Exposure
Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.
Knowledge of Core Data Services (CDS) views.
Forms & Reporting
Experience developing:
Remuneration Statements
Smart Forms and Adobe Forms
Custom HR reports and payroll outputs.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP HR development.
Proven consulting or implementation background in SAP HCM environments.
Experience in at least two end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Certification (e.g., SAP Certified Associate – Back-End Developer ABAP Cloud) is a plus but not mandatory.
Exposure to SuccessFactors integrations and cloud-based HR solutions.
Experience with payroll replication and troubleshooting.
