Role Summary:
The Scrum Master acts as a servant-leader for one or more Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring continuous improvement in delivery performance. This role partners with Product Owners and engineering teams to drive predictable, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach teams on Agile best practices and principles.
- Remove impediments to ensure smooth sprint progress.
- Maintain visibility into sprint metrics (velocity, burn-down, impediment logs).
- Foster collaboration between developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure proper use of tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) for sprint tracking and backlog management.
- Help teams identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support alignment with enterprise Agile practices and governance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 510 years of experience in IT delivery with at least 3 years as a Scrum Master.
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS).
- Skilled in conflict resolution, team facilitation, and Agile metrics reporting.
- Proficiency in Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification required.
